Basket Weaving
Learn how to weave your very own Adirondack-style pack basket!
Spend the afternoon with Kelley, a basket weaver originally from Syracuse who has just returned to the Finger Lakes region after 15 years in California. In this class, you will weave your very own workable-wearable work of art: a basket that will last you a lifetime.
This class includes all of your weaving supplies and instruction, with the option to purchase a strap (some weavers like to make their own). The class will last from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a short break to grab a bite to eat.
You will walk away with a lifelong companion – a basket for foraging in the woods, farmers market visits, wild mushroom hunting, beach outings, picnics, and even for kids!
