This knowledge-based class will cover the differences between water bath canning and pressure canning, including when and why each method is used. You’ll also learn about other popular food preservation techniques such as freezing and dehydrating.

Whether you’re interested in preserving fresh garden produce, stocking your pantry, or becoming more self-sufficient, this class will provide a solid foundation to get you started.

No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and get ready to learn the basics of preserving food with confidence.
Note: If you have an induction or glass top stove please check with the manufacturer before canning as some stoves won’t tolerate the heat and weight of canning, which can cause damage.
