Preserve your love of flowers through the art of botanical bundle dyeing. In this hands-on workshop Sam of Red Dog Yarn will walk you through the process of bundling and steaming. You will gain an understanding of what flowers work best and why, and learn about what flowers you may have or want to grow your own gardens for your own use. I will have a range of fresh flowers and stems along with a selection of other botanical elements to add to your creations which will become uniquely yours. Each participant will learn how to capture color and images of fresh flowers onto a (previously prepared to dye silk scarf) and a 100% organic cotton bandana.
